Use SDelete (Secure Delete) to completely erase data from your comuter

Do you think a file is permanently erased from the hard drive when you empty the Recycle bin? If yes, then you're wrong... Well, the file appears to have been trashed but anyone can restore that file using data recovery software which are freely available online.

To overcome this crisis Microsoft offers a free command line utility SDelete (Secure Delete) that will overwrite the data that you deleted or trashed and this makes data recovery softwares really difficult or impossible to recover your data.
